This is kind of shocking: I finally managed to complete a photo project, even though a simple instagr.am challenge.
The January 2012 Photo-a-day Challenge originated on farumumslim.com.au and spread through instagram as a list of photo suggestions, one for each day of the month.
Previously, I started and let die down a 365-day-project and an instax mini series of portraits.
Now, one may object to the artistic values of iphoneography, but the handiness, ease of use and decent camera of the iPhone 4S were key in making me overcome my laziness.
Then, the instagram app made sharing the snaps exceptionally fast, easy and fun. No other social app got me so hooked and so quickly before, it’s really remarkable.
Now, January is over. Could 2012 be the year I complete a 365-day-project? But this is another story, another app and another blog post.
